In Munster

Above: View in Munster

The most mountainous part of Ireland is the south-west of Munster. The Macgillicuddy Reeks, in County Kerry, contain the highest summits in the whole island. CarnTual, the highest of all, is 3,404 feet above the sea-level. The famous and beautiful Lakes of Killarney are in the midst of these mountains.
